Pupil Premium Funding (Free School Meal Eligibility)
Your child may be entitled to some support towards the costs of additional activities, if they are eligible for Pupil Premium Funding.
To assess eligibility, applications will be considered from parents who are in receipt of Income Support, Income Based Job Seeker’s Allowance or Child Tax Credits (not Working Tax Credits) and whose annual income does not exceed £16,190. For more details please ask at the school office or visit:

If you think you may be eligible, please apply as there will be benefits available during your child's time in school. For example, subsidised school trips or music lessons and additional curriculum sessions after school. More advice can be obtained by talking, in confidence, to staff in the office.
Each year the government gives an additional amount of money to schools, Pupil Premium, according to certain “deprivation” criteria. This money is intended to support these children in activities that will enhance their learning. At Woodlands we use this money in a variety of ways depending on the individual needs of each child.
